ADVANCED ART
Our Advanced Art weekly art classes specialized courses are designed for youths (10+ yrs) who want to learn and improve on modern drawing and painting techniques via visual and digital mediums, by exploring elements of nature and technology. During the course, students are expected to complete a series of projects including two final large pieces with a written artist statement. These are great for skill and portfolio building. Level 1
This course is for students who have little to no technical art experience with visual and digital mediums. Main topics that will be covered in this course: Shapes, Line-work, Monochromatic exercises, and Value.
Recommended for ages 10+
Level 2
This course is for students who have little or some technical art experience with visual and digital mediums. Main topics that will be covered in this course: Colour Theory, Still Life, Form, and Contrast.
Recommended for ages 10+
Level 3
This course is for students who have a good understanding of art application and would like to further pursue specifically drawing and painting with visual and digital mediums in secondary/ post-secondary education. Main topics that will be covered in this course: Perspective, Composition, and Unity.
Recommended for ages 12+
