PAYMENT TERMS

All payments must be received to confirm a spot for the class. First come first serve. We accept all major credit cards, Wechat/Alipay, or e-transfer to "admin@labartstudio.ca". (For e-transfers or Wechat/Alipay, please put participants' name in Remarks) 
 

CANCELLATION POLICIES

For all Weekly Classes, Pro-D Day Workshops, 1-Day Workshops and Camps:

• There is strictly NO refund or credit of any course fees paid in the event of no-shows, and/or cancellations due to personal schedule conflict or sickness. Should LAB Language Arts Base need to cancel a class due to low enrollment, all students will be notified at least 24 hours in advance, and full refunds will be issued. Please remember when you confirm a class time, it is reserved for you/your child with a designated instructor. A late cancellation or missed class disrupts instructors’ time and lesson plans, and leaves a space that could have been filled by another student.

• Changes for any confirmed/scheduled class or course can be made and finalized with more than 48 hours notice, if there is availability and at LAB management's discretion. 

• There is a $10 administration fee for any class/course transfers, class location changes, or credit requests.

For Parties And Private Classes:

• There is strictly NO refund or credit of any course fees paid in the event of no-shows, and/or cancellations due to personal schedule conflict or sickness. Should LAB Language Arts Base need to cancel a class due to any reason, all students will be notified at least 24 hours in advance, and full refunds will be issued. 

• Changes for any confirmed/scheduled party date or private class event can be made and finalized with more than 48 hours notice, if there is availability and at LAB management's discretion.  

• There is a $20 administration fee for any party/private event date transfers, party location changes, or credit requests.

MAKE-UP CLASS POLICY 

For Weekly Classes (monthly courses):

• Make-up classes can be scheduled within a monthly course for an absence due to sickness or personal reasons at an additional charge of $10 per class. All make-up classes are subject to LAB's schedule availability. Make-up classes cannot be accumulated and/or carried over to other monthly courses, or refunded. No refund or credit will be given in the event of a suitable make-up class not being available or if students are unable to attend the make-up class provided.

• To fit your schedule better, a 30-minute private session is available at the cost of $18.00. LAB Language Arts Base is not responsible for providing make up classes for missed time; however, we do our best to ensure projects are completed per course.

• Make-up classes will be held at the same location as your enrolled course. 

• There are no make-up classes available to schedule for Pro-D Day Workshops, 1-Day Workshops and Camps due to the nature of the class.

PICK UP/DROP OFF POLICY

For all drop-off classes for kids, the studio will be open 5 minutes before the class starts. Parents/guardians are responsible for picking up the students on time. If your child(ren) is not picked up on time, there is a late fee. After 5 minute grace period, there is a $10 flat rate per child that stays an extra 5 to 20 minutes. For more than 20 minutes late, we will implement $1 per minute care. It will be greatly appreciated, however, if parents call to notify us if they will be late and give an approximate arrival time so that we can better comfort your child. If this becomes a frequent problem, LAB Language Arts Base reserves the right to dismiss a family from the program. Late fees are due regardless of inclement weather, traffic delays or other situations that may arise.
